These Terms of Use constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“you”) and Westmoor College (“Westmoor College,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) concerning your access to and use of the westmoorcollege.co.uk website and any related online or mobile services (collectively, the “Site”). We are registered in England and Wales with our registered office at 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, C2H 9JQ, UK. By accessing or using the Site, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
Supplemental terms and documents posted on the Site from time to time are expressly incorporated by reference. We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time; changes will be effective upon posting and indicated by the “Last updated” date. Your continued use constitutes acceptance of such changes.
The Site is intended for users aged 13 or older. Minors (under 18) may use the Site only with parental permission and under the direct supervision of a parent or guardian.
All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, audio, video, software, designs, and the Westmoor College name and logo—is our proprietary property or used under license. Except as expressly provided herein, you may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, or exploit any of the content without our prior written permission. You are granted a limited license to access and use the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. All rights not expressly granted are reserved by Westmoor College.
3.1 No Regulatory Accreditation
Westmoor College is a private educational provider and is not regulated, recognised, or accredited by any national awarding body (e.g., Ofqual, QAA). Completion of our courses does not confer a formal qualification or credit within any national framework. However as part of our strategic development, we are actively engaged in the process of securing formal accreditation and course approvals from recognised awarding bodies.
3.2 Professional & Personal Development Only
All courses are offered solely for professional development and personal enrichment. Any statements regarding career benefits are illustrative and do not guarantee employment, promotion, or external recognition.
3.3 Use of Logos & Trademarks
Unless explicitly stated, no use of any awarding-body logo, trademark, or branding is authorised. References to RQF levels or professional standards indicate content scope only.
4.1 On-Site (Physical Classroom) Delivery
Venue & Schedule: Locations, dates, and times will be confirmed at least 14 days before the start date. We may change venue or time with at least 7 days’ notice.
Attendance & Conduct: You must attend at least 75% of sessions to receive a Certificate of Completion. Persistent tardiness or misconduct may lead to exclusion without refund.
Health & Safety: You agree to follow all site rules and instructions. Westmoor College accepts no liability for personal injury unless caused by our negligence.
4.2 Distance (Online) Delivery
Platform Access: You will receive login credentials and a Getting Started guide via email 3 working days before course commencement.
Technical Requirements: You are responsible for reliable internet access (minimum 5 Mbps), an up-to-date browser, webcam, and microphone.
Support & Interaction: Live webinars will be recorded for internal use only; you may not share recordings externally. Discussion forums and email support are available during published Support Hours.
By using the Site, you represent and warrant that:
All registration information you submit will be true, accurate, current, and complete.
You will maintain and promptly update such information as necessary.
You have legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
You are at least 13 years old; if under 18, you have parental permission.
You will not access the Site through automated means (e.g., bots, scripts).
You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
Certain features require registration. You agree to keep your password confidential and be responsible for all activities under your account. We may remove or change any username we deem inappropriate.
You agree not to use the Site to:
Systematically extract data or content to create a database without permission
Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation
Upload or transmit viruses, malicious code, or unsolicited spam
Circumvent any security or access control
Frame or link to the Site in unauthorized ways
Interfere with the proper functioning of the Site or impose an unreasonable load
Remove or alter any proprietary notices
Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any software
The Site may allow you to post comments, reviews, or other content (“Contributions”). You retain ownership of your Contributions but grant Westmoor College a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display them. You warrant that your Contributions are lawful and non-infringing.
By submitting Contributions, you grant us the right to access, store, process, and use any personal data contained therein in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may share or adapt your feedback without compensation.
Reviews or ratings must reflect your honest experience, avoid defamatory language, not include personal data of others, and comply with all applicable laws. We may remove reviews at our discretion.
Any ideas or suggestions regarding the Site (“Submissions”) are non-confidential and become our sole property. You grant Westmoor College a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide license to use and exploit such Submissions without compensation.
We reserve the right to monitor, modify, or discontinue the Site (or any portion) at any time, without notice or liability.
These Terms remain in effect while you use the Site. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for any reason, without notice.
We may update, suspend, or discontinue the Site at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss resulting from such actions.
15.1 Fees & Taxes
All fees are quoted in GBP (£) and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise. You are responsible for any local taxes or bank charges.
15.2 Payment Terms
Full payment is due upon enrollment. For invoiced orders, payment must clear at least 7 days before course commencement. We may refuse access until fees are paid.
15.3 14-Day Cancellation Right
You may cancel any course purchase within 14 calendar days of payment and receive a full refund. To cancel, email office@westmoorcollege.co.uk with your order reference.
15.4 Refund Exceptions
No refunds for distance-learning content if you have streamed or downloaded more than 20% of the materials
No refunds once a physical course has commenced or if you have attended more than one session
15.5 Postponement & Cancellation by Us
If we cancel or postpone a course, you may choose a full refund or transfer to another date. We are not liable for any additional costs (e.g., travel, accommodation).
16.1 Code of Conduct
You agree to treat staff and fellow learners with respect, comply with venue rules, and refrain from disruptive behaviour.
16.2 Plagiarism & Cheating
All assignments must be your own work. Plagiarism or cheating may result in removal from the course without refund.
Westmoor College makes no guarantees as to specific learning outcomes, employment success, or third-party recognition resulting from our courses.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Westmoor College’s total liability for any claim arising from these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you for the affected course.
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including industrial action, extreme weather, pandemics, or internet outages.
These Terms are governed by and construed under the laws of England and Wales, excluding the United Nations Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. Both parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. EU residents also retain protections under local consumer-protection laws.
Before initiating any formal dispute, the parties agree to attempt informal resolution for at least 30 working days. Class or representative actions are not permitted; disputes will be resolved individually. Certain claims (e.g., injunctive relief) may be filed in court.
We may correct any errors or omissions on the Site at any time without prior notice.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Westmoor College and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Site or breach of these Terms.
You are responsible for all data transmitted to the Site. While we perform regular backups, we are not liable for any data loss or corruption.
Your use of the Site and email correspondence constitutes electronic communications. You consent to receive electronic notices in place of paper communications.
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy and any operating rules posted on the Site, constitute the entire agreement between you and Westmoor College. Failure to enforce any right is not a waiver. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remainder will remain in effect.
